We've just planted a letterbox series to commemorate St. Patrick. While you
might not ever get out to the northern coast of California, you might want to
read the interesting history of Patricius (his given name) by reading the
beginning of the clues to this series. Log on to the main website and search for
clues in CA that we've hidden.
And. . . Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Thank you so much for sending me to Calf. to read about St. Patrick. St.
Patrick is the name of our church & the school so it was a great way to celebrate.
Yes, I had my corn beef & cabbage for lunch even if it's really not what the
Irish eat in Erin. But it IS Irish-American. I'm not Irsh but love St.
Patrick' s Day. I guess it's the Irish area I grew up in that got to me.

Some people have experimented with making false, hollow 'rocks' of assorted materials for hiding a letterbox inside. They think this is a new invention, but St. Patrick himself had a ShamRock, you know.
